Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager with at least 6 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, who is passionate about design, project management, and business development. The ideal candidate will be a licensed landscape architect with extensive experience in residential, commercial, and master planning projects. They must have a strong background in construction documents, custom detailing, permitting, and project due diligence. This role requires alignment with our core values and vision, and a commitment to contributing positively to our company culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Design Leadership: Lead and contribute to the design process, working closely with the design team to develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing landscape architecture solutions.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of landscape architecture projects, managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Project Development: Involve in the development of new projects, from initial concept through completion, ensuring all aspects align with client needs and the firm’s vision.
  • Construction Documents & Detailing: Prepare and oversee the creation of detailed construction documents and custom detailing for a wide range of projects.
  • Permitting & Due Diligence: Manage the permitting process and conduct thorough project due diligence to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Business Development: Participate in job development activities, including nurturing client relationships, following up on leads, and contributing to the development of proposals and marketing strategies.
  • Billable Hours Management: Maintain a targeted 79% of billable hours by efficiently managing project tasks and responsibilities, regularly reviewing and optimizing project workflows.
  • Proposal Writing: Collaborate with the business development team to craft compelling project proposals that align with client needs and showcase the firm’s capabilities.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, and actively participate in professional development, including training on platforms such as Cardone University.
  • Cultural Contribution: Actively contribute to REMARK’s culture by embodying the firm’s core values and supporting a collaborative and positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Landscape Architect with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA) from an accredited U.S. university.
  • Proven experience in residential, commercial, and master planning projects.
  • Strong expertise in construction documents, custom detailing, permitting, and project due diligence.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Goal-driven with a strong desire to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
  • Experience with business development and proposal writing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion) is preferred.
